Nazim Mammadov

Nazim Dadash oglu Mammadov was born in Baku. He studied at the Azim Azimzadeh State Art School (1957), “artist-multiplier” courses at “Soyuzmultfilm” in Moscow (1961). Since 1961, he worked as a director-multiplier at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. He contributed to the development of the animation genre in Azerbaijan. The child was engaged in book illustration, easel painting. He drew illustrations for more than 400 children’s books. Nazim Mammadov died in 2004 in Baku.
