Rovshan Almuradli son of Aziz (Rovshan Almuradov) was born in Baku. He studied at the Faculty of  Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State Art Institute named after M.A. Aliyev (1972-1976), and at the Higher Directing Course of the Improvement Institute under the Ministry of Culture of the USSR (1984-1987). He started working as an actor in the Teaching Theater. Experienced at the Moscow State Academic Satire Theater. He worked as an actor at the Shaki State Drama Theater (1976-1980), and as a director at the Sumgayit State Drama Theater (1980-1985). He was the chief director of the Mingachevir State Drama Theater (1988-1989). In 1991, he was the artistic guiding of the independent “Istiqlal” theater opened under the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan. In those years, he directed performances here, in 1992 he worked as a director at the Ganja State Drama Theater, and from 1993 he worked as a director at the Azerbaijan State Radio and Television Broadcasting Committee. In 2006, he was accepted as a director at the Academic National Drama Theater. Director Rovshan Almuradli died on April 2, 2019.

Director, actor Rovshan Almuradli is the father of actor Kamal Almuradli.
