Adil Azay (Adil Azayev) was born in Ganja. He studied at the Rostov Cinema Technical College (1972-1976), the art faculty of the Azerbaijan State Art Institute (1984-1989). Since 1978, he worked at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. He worked as an artist in the American film “Pain” (2000, directed by Oleg Harrinjar). He is engaged in pedagogical activities at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
