Fikret Bagirov  son of Bagir was born in Baku. He studied at Azerbaijan Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1958), at the art faculty of All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1964). Since 1964, he worked as an art director at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. His works have been exhibited in the republic and abroad.  Fikret Bagirov, Honored Artist (1982), People’s Artist, USSR State Prize Laureate (1981), died in 1996.
