Rovshan Mehdiyev son of  Husi was born in Baku. He studied at the Wood Carving Faculty of the Technical Vocational School of Painting (1986-1990), at the Economics Faculty of the Moscow State Institute of Economics and Law (1997-1999). Since 1990, he has been working at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. He worked as an artist on the Azerbaijani filming of the film “The Road to Mother” (2016, directed by Akan Satayev), produced by Kazakh cinematographers, and the Indian film “Ramcharan” (2017).
