Isi Malikzade, son of Abbas, was born in Agjabedi. Studied at the Petrochemical Faculty of Azerbaijan Industrial Institute named after M. Azizbeyov (1952-1957). He worked operator, surface equipment master at the “Azizbeyovneft” mining department (1957-1961), senior engineer, deputy head of department at the Baskaz department of the Ministry of Public Utilities of Azerbaijan (1961-1966), head of the publicity department at the editorial office of the “Star” magazine, responsible secretary (1966-1973) , editor at the Azerbaijan State Publishing House, member of the script editorial board at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio (1974-1976), head of the prose department at the “Azerbaijan” magazine editorial office (1976-1980), head of the prose department at the “Star” magazine editorial office (1980-1981), “Mozalan” ” worked as a senior editor at the satirical film magazine (1981-1983), editor-in-chief at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio (1983-1985), head of the literary department at the Azerbaijan State Academic Drama Theater (1988-1990), head of the publicity department at “Azerbaijan” magazine (1994-1995). He was the chairman of the Karabakh branch of the Azerbaijan Culture Fund (since 1990). He is the author of  books- “The End of Longing” (1964), “Alien Mother” (1969), “Fragile Wings” (1973), “I Sprinkled Water on the Streets” (1977), “Green Night” (1979), “Sunny Autumn” (1982),  “Dada palid” (1984), “Legend of  Silverlake ” (1987), “The light of dewy meadows” (1991), “Nowruz holiday of J. Dotashalan” (1992). Isi Malikzade died in 1995.
