Elman Aliyev son of Aliverdi was born in Baku. Since 1964, he worked in the photo studio of the film studio. In 1973, he was sent to Moscow to take a 6-month course as a director of photography. He filmed the World Universiade as a  director of photography at the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow (1973). Honored Culture Worker (2007) Elman Aliyev worked for a long time as a photographer at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.
