Fikret Asgarov son of Haji Abrek (Fikret Haji Abrek) was born in Ganja. He graduated from the cinematography faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (workshop of B. Volchek, 1972). Since 1979, he worked at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. Honored artist Fikret Asgarov died in 2013.
