Yuri Yuryevich Varnovsky (Yuri Varnauskas) was born in Baku. He studied at the Polytechnic Institute (1966-1969), the cinematography faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1975-1980). He has been working at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio since 1972. He is Honored artist (2012)..
