Aganaghi Akhundov

Aganagi Yagub ogly Akhundov was born on October 13, 1928 in Baku. In 1948, he entered the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzadeh, where he graduated as a teacher of drawing and calligraphy in general schools. Aganagi Akhundov graduated from the All-Union Institute of Cinematography in 1963 as a director-director of animated films. He completed his military service on October 26, 1964, and became a member of the Union of Cinematographers in 1967 and the Union of Artists in 1980. He simultaneously worked in some feature and documentary films as a costume designer. A. Akhundov was awarded the Veteran of Labor Order on October 30, 1989 for his contribution to Azerbaijani cinematography. Aganagi Akhundov died on August 26, 2002.
