Arzu Urshan (Arzu Mammadova Urshan gizi) was born in Sumgait. He studied at the piano class of the music school (1984-1988), at the drama directing faculty of the Moscow State Institute of Culture (1990-1994), and at the theater studies specialty of the Russian Academy of Theater Arts (1992-1998). He worked at the Moscow State Variety Theater (1994-1997), at the Rustam Ibrahimbeyov National Cinematography Center in Baku (2000-2002), and at Azerbaijan Television (2000-2006). Since 2009, he worked at the “AzBuki” Producer Center operating in Moscow.
