Aligulu Samadov

Aligulu Samadov (son of  Gudrat Aligulu Gudratoglu) was born in Astara. He studied at the Baku Communication Technical University (1970-1975), the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (Yevgeny Matveyev’s course). In 1979, he was admitted to the acting department of “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, and currently continues his work in the film studio. He worked as a second director, dubbing director, casting director of many films and took part in the recording of synchronized sound effects. Worked at Baku Children and Youth Theater in 2012-2021.

In the role of Stepanov in the series “We are kept alive by youth…” (1986, directed by Yevgeny Sherstobitov) of foreign film producers, in the film “The Interviewer” (1986, directed by Yuri Marukhin / Belarus), “Alpha Project” (1990, directed by Yevgeny Sherstobitov) / Ukraine) as a navigator in the film “Black Winter” (1991 / Iran), as a captain in the film “Leap” (1991, directed by Yevgeny Sherstobitov / Ukraine), in the series “Drongo” (2002, directed by Zinoviy Royzman / Russia), “They He was also a human being” (Turkey), “Train No. 57” (Turkey), and was the second director of the movie “Dungeon of the Giants” (1993, directed by Hasan Mammadzade / Iran).

He is a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan (1991). He is an honored artist (2011).
