Emin Mirabdullayev was born in 1969. He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts at the theater and film directing faculty (1986-1992). He worked as a production director at the Russian Drama Theater (1992-1996), director at ANS Television (1996-1998), chief producer (1998-2000), assistant creative director at McCann Erickson company (2000-2005), chief producer at Space Television (2006-2006), creative director at Pro-Cent Production Center (2009-2010). Since 2016, he has been the director of the Academic Russian Drama Theater. “Humay” (2008) in the “Best Director of the Year” nomination, “Humay” (2004) in the “Best Clip of the Year” nomination, “Grand” (2006) in the “Best Clip of the Year” nomination, “Postscriptum” in the “Best Debut” (short feature film) nomination of the Azerbaijan Film Academy “Golden Fairy” Professional Awards (2018). He is a member of the Professional Film Directors Guild of Azerbaijan.
