Kamran Mursal oghlu Gasimov was born in Baku. He studied television directing (2000-2004) and master’s degree in screenwriting (2005-2007) of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Director’s assistant and director at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater (2003-2005), screenwriter and director at the “Mozalan” film magazine (2005), Azerbaijan Cinematographers’ Union (2005-2008), editor at ANSPress, editor-in-chief of the artistic and journalistic programs department of ANS Independent Broadcasting and Media Company (2008-2009), deputy chief creative director at Space TV, Bakufilm Film Company (20 09-2013), editor-in-chief (2014), head of strategic research, programming and announcement department at Space TV (2013-2014), assistant director-general at ANS TV (2015-2016), editor at APA TV (2017-2018). He teaches at Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Currently, he is the executive director of AzerNewMedia, the head of the Cinema Radio project, the head of the Program department of Real TV and at the same time the host of Real TV.
