Asim Jalilov son of Gulu was born in Baku. He studied at Azerbaijan State University (1961), at the Moscow Academy of Social Sciences. He worked as a chief editor in “Molodyoj Azerbaijan” newspaper (1967-1972), “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio (1979-1983), “Bakinski Rabochiy” newspaper (1991-1995). He is an honored journalist.
